Frequently Asked Questions About Armorer Services

What are armorer services?

An armorer is a professional that has received advanced training in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of firearms. Armorers provide a wide range of services, from upgrading triggers to gun cleaning. Keeping your guns in good shape protects your investment.

How often should I have my firearm inspected?

Usually your gun’s manufacturer will provide a recommendation for the frequency of inspections, but we recommend that you do it annually, at a minimum. This ensures that your gun is always ready when you need it most.

When can I expect my armorer work to be complete?

Turnaround times for armorer services depend largely on the amount of work we currently have, but the average is about 1 week. If you need work done faster than this, please let us know.

What do armorers do?

Armorers offer basic firearm cleaning and full restorations; if your gun isn’t working, we can repair it, even if you bring it to us in pieces! We work with everything from antique rifles to modern handguns. Many of our customers use our services to upgrade their weapons or customize them to their exact specifications.

How do I know my gun needs to be repaired?

Some signs that your gun needs to be repaired are frequent misfires and light strikes, corrosion and rust, and broken or missing parts.

What are some upgrades I can get for my gun?

A few of the most common upgrades requested by our customers include trigger pull reduction action, installation of extended controls, caliber conversions, scope mounting, bore sighting, and custom textures and finishes.
